At Serena, we focus on human hair quality you can feel — softness, natural movement, and an elevated finish. Below is what to expect from your unit and how to keep it looking its best.

Our Quality Standards

We work with trusted production partners and review units to ensure:

• Consistent texture and curl pattern

• Natural-looking finish and clean construction

• Comfortable wear and easy styling

Note: Small variations can happen due to lighting, screen settings, and the handmade nature of human hair products.

What to Expect

Shedding: Light shedding is normal, especially with curly textures or after detangling.
Tangles: Minimal tangling can occur; proper care and storage greatly reduce it.
Length: Curly textures may look shorter than straight hair at the same inch length.
Color: Slight tone differences can happen due to lighting and monitors.

Care Guide

1) Detangling

• Detangle gently from ends to roots

• Use a wide-tooth comb for curls/waves

• Avoid brushing curls dry (use fingers + wide-tooth comb)

2) Washing (as needed)

• Wash when there’s buildup (typically every 7–14 wears)

• Use a gentle shampoo and lukewarm water

• Apply conditioner, then rinse thoroughly

3) Drying

• Pat dry with a towel (don’t rub)

• Air dry on a wig stand when possible

• For curls: scrunch lightly and let the curl pattern set naturally

4) Moisture & Finish

• Use a small amount of lightweight leave-in or serum

• Avoid heavy oils near the lace or roots to prevent buildup

Heat & Styling (Human Hair)

Human hair can be heat styled, but for best longevity:

• Always use heat protectant

• Keep heat at a moderate temperature

• Avoid repeated high heat on the same area

Coloring & Bleaching

Human hair can be colored, but results vary by unit and shade. For major color changes or bleaching, we recommend professional coloring.

Storage Tips

• Store on a wig stand or in a satin bag

• Keep away from humidity and friction

• For longer lengths, braid loosely to reduce tangling
